Textbooks
Textbooks are required to complete the program. The textbooks can be purchased from an online bookstore when you register.
Additional materials
The program has recently been revised with new content and the addition of an online financial calculator.
Textbook refund policy
If you purchase textbooks from the online bookstore, your purchase will be subject to the refund policies of the bookstore operator.

Withdrawals and refunds
To drop/withdraw from a course/program, you may complete the online Withdrawal and Refund Form.
All refunds are processed according to the refund schedule below:
Full Six Course Package:
0 - 15 days: Tuition refundable
More than 15 days: No refund (0%)
Individual Course:
0 - 15 days: Tuition refundable
More than 15 days: No refund (0%)
The terms above are from the date of enrollment (the day you enroll for any of the individual courses included in the program or register and enroll in an individual course).
Corporate registration refund policy
Corporations that purchase seats on behalf of an individual firm are entitled to a credit of the pro-rated portion of the program unused by a student who leaves the firm. The corporation may purchase the “used” portion of courses for a new student(s) at the then-established corporate rate, plus an enrollment fee.
Students who leave a corporate-sponsored program may re-register in the program, if it is available, at the new employer's corporate rate or the then-published retail tuition.
Term of access
You will be given eighteen months of access to complete the courses within the program. If you purchase courses individually, you will also be given an eighteen-month access period per course.
Boston University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and marks. CFP® certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience and examination requirements.
