Study schedule expectations
While you are allowed 18 months of access to the program, we expect that the average program completion time will be approximately 12 months or less (as of September 1, 2003). We have developed a customized study schedule tool to help give you a sense of how long the program will take you to complete based on either how much time you have to devote to study, or how much time you will need to study in order to complete the program by a specific date.
Technical specs
In order to run the program, the following system requirements must be met:
- Connection speed – The program is designed to run at a minimum of a 56k modem. The optimal connection speeds are DSL, Cable or T1 lines.
- Version of browser – The program is built for Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above, and Netscape Navigator version 6.1 or above.
- Browser options – The program will need the browser options to be set to JavaScript enabled.
- Plug-in requirements – The only plug-in required for this product is Flash 5 or higher.
- Firewall – If your firewall allows typical web traffic (http), there should be no problem with viewing the courses behind your firewall.
- Sound cards – Sound cards are not required, but learners will miss out on some audio components of the course that add to the overall experience.
