Becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ has never been more time efficient. The accelerated Virtual Classroom has just been added to the Boston University Online Program for Financial Planning core curriculum, so now you can complete your required education in just nine months. Designed and led by distinguished Boston University faculty, the Virtual Classroom makes certain you comprehend the content needed to successfully sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.
Coordinated around CFP Board exam dates, each cohort finishes in time for the upcoming exam cycle.
To register:

STEP 1: Sign up for the Boston University Financial Planning online program & virtual classroom sessions prior to enrollment deadline.
- Online access is granted immediately.
- Books are shipped same day.

STEP 2: Complete the required online lessons prior to the first instructor-led session.
- The first two-hour instructor-led virtual session will be held 2 weeks after enrollment

STEP 3: Complete the additional required online lesson prior to each virtual session as scheduled.
- 17 subsequent two-hour instructor-led virtual sessions will be held every 2 weeks for 9 months.

Boston University does not certify individuals to use the CFP®, Certified Financial Planner™ and marks. CFP® certification is granted solely by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met ethics, experience and examination requirements.
