The certificate programs at the Center for Professional Education are non-degree (not-for-credit) and eligible for continuing education and career training loans only. When applying online or by phone, please verify the loan type is for continuing education or career training. Federal and institutional financial aid (including Stafford/PLUS loans and Pell grants) is awarded to degree-seeking students enrolled in for-credit classes only.

For the Online Financial Planning Certificate program, contact Boston Institute of Finance at 1-800-329-4996.

Please note the following loans are credit-based (not need-based), therefore the applicant and/or co-applicant must have a satisfactory credit history and regular income.

Also note the SCHOOL CODE differs per student loan program. When completing your student loan application, please verify the correct SCHOOL CODE has been included. Failure to provide the correct SCHOOL CODE will delay the processing of your student loan application.

This deposit is refunded to you upon receipt of government payment in full. Note that the agency may pay part or all of your tuition and fees and any remaining balance is payable by the student.
