Home Funding SourcesFunding for Classroom Programs Payment is due at the time of registration. Students have several methods to pay for classes. Credit card payment (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), checks, military-sponsored funding, and purchase orders are all acceptable forms of payment. Students paying through a purchase order may be required to pay a portion of the tuition upfront to secure a spot in a class. Credit card payments may be made online through our registration system. This is the fastest method of payment. Checks should be made out to Boston University and include the student’s name and class in the memo line. Purchase orders will signed by the appropriate designee of the funding organization. Special discounts of 10% are available when three employees from the same employer register and pay for the same class under one funding source. Funding for Online Courses Please contact our partner agency to find out about payment options and loan information.
Funding for US Military Personnel and Veterans Boston University accepts payments by military personal through Tuition Assistance and Veteran’s Benefits. Please contact us for more information. Education Loans The certificate programs at the Center for Professional Education are non-degree (not-for-credit) and eligible for continuing education and career training loans only. When applying online or by phone, please verify that the loan type is for continuing education or career training. Federal and institutional financial aid (including Stafford/PLUS loans and Pell grants) is awarded to degree-seeking students enrolled in for-credit classes only. Also note the SCHOOL CODE differs per student loan program. When completing your student loan application, please verify the correct SCHOOL CODE has been included. Failure to provide the correct SCHOOL CODE will delay the processing of your student loan application.
