Carolynn Tomin, CFP®
Carolynn Tomin is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional who specializes in financial education. She is the Program Director for Boston University’s online and classroom CFP® certification education programs and has augmented the development of BU's online program for the past fifteen years.
Carolynn has taught estate planning courses, online reviews and CFP® Certification Exam courses for more than 20 years at several colleges in Massachusetts and Florida, as well as for many banks and financial service companies in both states. She is co-author of an estate planning textbook, Principles of Estate Planning, which is used by many CFP Board registered programs.
As co-founder of a financial education company, Beacon Hill Financial Educators, she wrote and presented continuing education courses for many financial service firms and organizations including NAPFA and the FPA.
Carolynn was appointed the 2012 Chair of CFP Board’s Council on Education, and served as a member of the Council from 2009-2011. She currently serves on the CFP Board Ethics Work Group creating curriculum for their CE Ethics course.
As a long-standing member of the FPA, she has served on the Board of Directors for the southwest Florida chapter and on the Boston chapter’s Career Development Committee for 10 years. Former positions include Director of Financial Planning Programs at Merrimack College, and Regional Director for the Social Security Disability Program in Massachusetts.
John “Jake” Akoury, CFP®, MBA, CLTC, AAMS
Having served in the military for 25 years, Mr. Akoury has made it his mission to serve those who currently serve [or have served] our country as well as those friends, family members, and business owners who support those who serve.
As Managing Director and Director of Training for The Bulfinch Group, Mr. Akoury specialize in financial protection maximization and wealth accumulation strategies. Additionally, Mr. Akoury advises his clients in several different areas, including efficient wealth accumulation for retirement, estate planning, investment/risk management, and business/executive-level strategies.
Having made his home on the North Shore, Mr. Akoury enjoys spending time with his family as well as giving back to his community as well as his country. He does this through volunteering his time on his children’s sports teams as well as local church and veteran’s organizations.
Not only is Mr. Akoury involved in his community, but he is also actively involved in the financial services world. In addition to earning his Certified Financial Planner [CFP®] designation, Mr. Akoury earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting/Taxation, with a specialization in Personal Financial Planning, from Fordham University as well as his Certification in Long Term Care and Accredited Asset Management Specialist designations.
Vincent E. Bonazzoli, JD
Vincent E. Bonazzoli teaches estate planning courses in Boston University's Financial Planning Program. He is the principal and sole owner of the Family Estate Planning Law Group which concentrates on advanced estate planning, elder law and Medicaid planning, special needs planning, trust and estate administration, probate administration and advanced estate tax planning. Mr. Bonazzoli received his JD from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA in 1985 and his B.A. in psychology from Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT in 1982. He is a graduate of the Esperti Peterson Institute's Advanced Studies for Estate and Wealth Planning and their post-doctoral master's program. Bonazzoli is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, and Wealth Counsel, LLC. He has been an adjunct professor of the Academy of Multidisciplinary Practice, a senior fellow of the Estate & Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University, and an instructor of estate planning courses at Merrimack College. He lives with his wife and two children in Swampscott, Massachusetts.
Nancy M. Brogan, CFP®
Nancy Brogan began working in the financial service industry in 2009 where she initially started in her firm's accounting department. As the Firm's Financial Administrator, she was responsible for corporate and fund accounting. She then moved to the Research Department where she was responsible for performing credit analyses on municipal credits, and then ultimately transitioned to the Client Services Department where she holds the position of Client Services Manager and is responsible for Client Services of Wealth Managers and Direct Individuals.
Ms. Brogan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hodges University and was inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society. She is a member of the Southwest Florida Financial Planning Association and was the first recipient to receive the Financial Planning CFP® Exam Scholarship Program.
Colleen Carcone, JD, CFP®
Colleen Carcone is a JD as well as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.She serves as a Director of Wealth Planning Strategies for TIAA-CREF, where she provides wealth transfer, estate, and tax planning services for the company's most complex clients. Colleen works with clients all aspects of estate planning—including basic planning, asset ownership, charitable gifting, multi-generational transfers, life insurance, and other sophisticated estate planning strategies. She also works with clients' outside advisors to implement these techniques. In 2012, Colleen co-authored Principles of Estate Planning with Carolynn Tomin, Program Director, published by National Underwriter. Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Colleen worked with Atlantic Trust Company, where she delivered estate and financial planning services to the firm’s clients. Colleen was also previously part of the Atlantic Benefit Group, an insurance firm working with high net-worth individuals and business owners. In this role, she guided clients in the implementation of advanced estate and business planning techniques utilizing life insurance. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont, and received her JD degree from New England School of Law. She is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, and holds Series 6 and 63 licenses. She is active in several professional organizations including the Boston Bar Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council. Colleen has been teaching estate planning in the BU Financial Planning Program since 2008.
Yasmin Causer, CPA/PFS, CFP©, AEP®, MST
Yasmin Causer is a Partner in the Private Client Services Group at KLR. Yasmin has over twenty‐five years of public accounting experience working with high net worth individuals and their families in tax matters arising out of complex financial structures comprising of closely held businesses, various forms of trusts, family limited partnerships and private foundations. In addition to federal, multi‐state and international income tax compliance and planning matters, Yasmin’s focus is on helping individuals and families manage, monitor and evaluate their financial situation. She also advises clients on gifting strategies, philanthropic planning and multi‐generation wealth transfer opportunities.
Yasmin received a BS in Accountancy (Cum Laude) from Bentley University and a MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University. In addition, Yasmin completed the Certificate in Financial Planning from Merrimack College and received the CFP© in 2003.

Kenneth Dean, CPA, CFP®, CFA, FRM, MST
Ken is a Certified Public Account (CPA) who holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. He is the Director of Financial Planning at Winthrop Wealth Management, Boston, MA. Previously, Ken provided accounting and tax services to personal clients for 30 years, and has 10 years of experience as an international tax manager dealing with large multinational companies such as Toshiba and Colgate-Palmolive. He earned his Master of Science in Taxation in 1995 from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Over the past 17 years, Ken has taught all sections of the CFP® curriculum for various financial planning programs, banks, and financial service companies. In addition to being an instructor in Boston University’s Financial Planning Program, Ken is a contributing content editor and former tutor for the BU Online program.
Daniel J. Galli, CFP®, M.Ed, ChFC, CLU
Dan Galli is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and owner of Daniel J. Galli & Associates, located in Norwell, Massachusetts. Dan began his financial services career in 1986 following 11 years as a public school teacher. He has built a practice that includes a wide range of products and advisory services, including both fee-based financial planning and commission-based activity. Today, his practice focuses on retirement planning for professionals, small business owners, teachers, and other individuals, designing qualified retirement plans, maximizing savings, and managing assets. He is a registered representative of Ameritas Investment Corp. (AIC) with FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 registrations. He holds a Masters of Education in Elementary Education Administration as well Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations.

From 1997 to 2005, he served as an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University in Boston, teaching courses in their CFP® program on retirement planning and employee benefits as well as insurance and financial planning. In 2005, he joined the adjunct faculty at Boston University, teaching FP 105 Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits as well as portions of FP 110, the CFP® capstone course to prepare students for the national CFP® Comprehensive Examination. A contributing author and editor for the Retirement Planning and Employee Benefit sections of Boston University’s online Financial Planning Program, Galli also teaches the live online CFP® Retirement Planning course.

Jennifer F. Galvagna, JD
Jennifer F. Galvagna is a Managing Director with US Trust, Bank of America’s Private Wealth Management Group in Boston, Massachusetts. She currently serves as a Market Trust Director, a position that she has held since December, 2006. Ms. Galvagna originally joined the legacy Fleet organization in 2002 as member of the Wealth Strategies group, specializing in estate and financial planning for high net worth individuals.
Ms. Galvagna was formerly employed as Trust Counsel with State Street Bank and Trust Company’s Private Asset Management and Charitable Asset Management Groups. She also worked in private practice as a Trusts and Estates Associate at the Boston law firms of Mintz Levin Cohen Ferris Glovsky & Popeo P.C. and Burns & Levinson LLP.
Ms. Galvagna additionally served as a member of the adjunct faculty of Northeastern University’s paralegal program, instructing a course on the probate administration and taxation of estates in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She held this position from 2000-2011.
Ms. Galvagna is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Trusts and Estates section of the Boston Bar Association where she chaired the Committee on Legislation from 2002-2006.

Robert J. Glovsky, JD, LLM, CFP®, CLU, ChFC

Bob Glovsky is Vice Chair and a Principal of The Colony Group. Prior to joining The Colony Group in July 2012, Bob was a founder and the President of Mintz Levin Financial Advisors, which provided wealth management and investment advisory services to individuals and families. Bob brings more than 30 years of experience in financial and tax planning and money management with a focus on asset allocation and investment strategies.
Bob was recently appointed by President Obama to serve as a member on the President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability for Young Americans. Bob also currently serves as a charter member of the Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services Advisor Council and is a former member of the Fidelity Research Institute’s Advisory Council. Bob served as 2010 Chair of the Board of Directors of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He also has served as Chair of the Board of Examiners of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, which sets standards for financial planning professionals worldwide. He has lectured and spoken extensively throughout the country on financial planning topics.
Bob is the Director Emeritus of Boston University's Financial Planning Program, the largest CFP® Board registered program in New England and one of the largest in the country. He was honored in 2010 for his service, and the Robert J. Glovsky Scholarship Fund was created to help fund financial planning education for qualified candidates choosing to assist the underserved population.
Worth magazine selected Bob as one of the “Best Financial Advisors in the Country” eight consecutive times, and he was also listed in Mutual Fund magazine's “Nation's Top 100 Financial Advisors.” In 2014, Barron's chose Bob as one of the “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors” for the seventh time and he made Boston Magazine's list of “Five Star Wealth Managers” in 2010 and 2011*. Alan A. Ioffredo, CFP®
Alan Ioffredo is a founding partner of ALENA Wealth, LLC. Ioffredo and partner Lena Mandelis established the firm to assist individuals and families with values and resource discovery and the proper role these play in their financial decision making. Ioffredo is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a licensed insurance broker. ALENA Wealth, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisor.
Ioffredo has served on the faculty of the Boston University Program for Financial Planners since 1995 and has the distinction of being the first Boston University Program graduate invited to join the faculty. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s College of Engineering. Ioffredo is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is a Registered Principal and a Registered Representative of LPL Financial. Ioffredo offers a fee-based asset management account to clients as an Investment Advisor Representative of LPL Financial.
Alan is a veteran volunteer of the Big Brothers of Boston program and participates in several community charities that focus on supporting young adults and a spirit-filled life. Alan and his wife Cathy are avid travelers and often “trot the globe” with their three adult children, Michael, Anya and Anthony.
Clifford Jurdi, CFP®
Cliff Jurdi is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and principal of Clifford J. Jurdi, CFP®, CHFC. He is a Registered Representative, as well as an Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA/SIPC, and a Registered Investment Adviser. Jurdi is also a presenter for The PFE Group, a leading retirement plan design, investment advisory, and financial education consulting firm.
Jurdi’s specialty is comprehensive financial and retirement planning, which includes investment analysis, risk management, and estate planning. He is also an instructor in the master's in Taxation curriculum at Northeastern University, teaching retirement planning and employee benefits. He has also taught risk management and the financial planning process in Northeastern's CFP® curriculum. As an adjunct faculty member at Boston University, he teaches retirement planning and employee benefits in the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ curriculum.

Daniel B. Koppel, MSFS, CFP®
Daniel Koppel was led to a career in financial services by his love of helping people and a passionate interest in personal finance.
In his current role he assists financial planners at Baystate Financial in developing and presenting effective financial strategies for their clients. His work in this role is based on the principles of accountability, ethics, and comprehensive research. Daniels believe all participants involved in a plan need to be held accountable in accomplishing the actions required at each stage of the process. Ethically he believes in consistently doing what is in the client’s best interest above all else, providing thorough explanations outlining the reasoning behind the strategies presented in a plan. Lastly, he believes in taking the time to explore all facets of a client's situation and research all available options before arriving at a recommendation. Financial planning for individuals and businesses is a complex task, with many competing issues to consider, even in commonplace situations.
Prior to his work at Baystate Financial Daniel supported advisors at MetLife Financial Group of Massachusetts, TPW Financial, and Commonwealth Financial Group. Professional education and development has been a critical factor in his career progression. After completing his CFP® certification in 2010 he went on to earn a Master’s degree in Financial Services from the American College in 2015.
Gerald Loftin, JD, CFP®, AIF®
Coming from humble beginnings, Gerald learned the value of budgeting and saving early in life. He also learned that most individuals could achieve financial success through proper discipline and guidance. This vision stimulated great interest and led him on the path to become a financial educator. With over 20 years of industry experience, Gerald guides individuals, charitable organizations, and privately held businesses in the areas of asset accumulation and preservation strategies as the Managing Member of Proficient Wealth Counselors, LLC, the financial consulting firm he founded in 2000.
A graduate from Massachusetts School of Law, and a Finance major from Northeastern University, Gerald has an appreciation for the power of the financial markets. While he understands and practices that a reasonable work/life balance is extremely important, he allocates his time with family, serving the clients of Proficient Wealth Counselors, LLC, professional, and pro-bono activities. Gerald is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®) and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Gerald is an Estate Planning instructor for the Boston University Program for Financial Planning, and he serves as a Board Member for the Association of African American Financial Advisors. Patrick Logue, CFP®
Patrick Logue CFP® is a fee-only financial advisor and founder of Prudent Financial Planning LLC. He specializes in college planning, student loans, and retirement planning. Pat is a member of the National College Advocacy Group (NCAG), Fee-Only Network (FON), XY Planning Network (XYPN), Financial Planning Association (FPA), and National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). With 25 years of experience in financial services, he is intimately familiar with student loan planning, investments, tax planning, and charitable giving strategies. Pat earned his MS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in finance from Governor's State University and is working towards his MS in Personal Finance through the College for Financial Planning. He is a Capstone instructor and presentation grader for Boston University’s online Financial Planning Program.
Phuong Luong, CFP®
Phuong Luong is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and educator. She is the Financial Planning Facilitator for Boston University's Online Financial Planning Program. In this role, she provides coaching, curriculum instruction and technical assistance to online students. Phuong graduated from the Boston University Financial Planning Program, where she was a recipient of the Robert J. Glovsky Scholarship for Financial Planning. Phuong is also the founder of Just Wealth, a fee-only financial planning practice that specializes in intergenerational financial planning. She was most recently the Director of Financial Services for a national nonprofit where she oversaw financial education, and provided initial training, professional development, and ongoing mentorship to financial coaches and counselors serving disenfranchised individuals and families. Previously, Phuong served as a public school teacher of middle-school math and special education.
Phuong currently serves as a member of CFP Board's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council, helping to build pathways to attract and retain financial planners from diverse backgrounds to the financial planning profession. In addition, she is a member of CFP Board's Ethics Work Group which develops curriculum and materials for CFP Board’s new CE Ethics course. Phuong received a B.A. from Dartmouth College, where she was a graduate of the Teacher Education Program and a recipient of the Woodrow-Wilson Rockefeller Brothers Fellowship for Aspiring Teachers of Color. She also earned a M.Ed in Special Education from Boston University. She is a current member of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors).
Nicole McConaghy, CFP®
Nicole McConaghy has been in the financial services industry since 2013 and joined Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group in 2018. Her focus is on developing strategies and providing advice for high net worth individuals, their families and their businesses by understanding their short- and long-term financial objectives. Previously she spent 5 years at U.S. Trust Private Wealth Management where she was an associate within the trust department. Nicole is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a graduate of Framingham State University.
Jeffrey A. Morin, CLU, ChFC
Jeff joined MassMutual in 1995. Since that time, Jeff has held a number of positions throughout the Life organization. Jeff managed the CAS Sales Desk whose primary role is to provide pre-sale life insurance support to the Career Agency System by providing illustration, competition, and life product support.
Jeff now serves as Regional Director, Life Sales for the New England region. Jeff has a proven ability to increase market share, provide leadership and management to the sales team while facilitating strategies for growth and profitability. His strengths include his sales and marketing expertise, leadership experience, extensive product and industry knowledge and his ability to provide superior service to the Career Agency System.
Jeff is a graduate of Fitchburg State College. Jeff holds his CLU and ChFC designation from the American College. Jeff and his wife, Vanessa, reside in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts with their two daughters, Madelyn and Grace.
Todd Mulligan, CFA, CFP®
Todd is a Vice President, Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Boston. His practice focuses on creating and implementing comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for high net worth individuals, corporations, and non-profits.
Todd holds both the CERTIFIED FIANCIAL PLANNER™ and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Todd is active within the CFA society of Boston and sits on both the Mentor Committee and the Private Wealth Committee. Todd joined the BU Financial Planning Program in 2016 focusing on Investments.
Jake Northrup, CFP®, CFA
Jake is a Senior Wealth Advisor at Ballentine Partners and part of the high net worth team that caters to clients with $3 million or more investment assets. He works directly with clients on all aspects of their financial affairs including investment, tax, estate, retirement, college, business and debt planning.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Colman Knight Advisory Group where he conducted investment research and provided financial planning services to high net worth clients. Earlier in his career, Jake held positions in the finance department at Raytheon and the investment operations department at State Street.
Jake graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a major in Finance and minor in Economics. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is actively involved in the financial planning community as the director of the NexGen group for the Massachusetts Financial Planning Association, as well as his involvement on the networking committee for the Trusts and Estates Consortium.
Jake lives in Boston, MA with his fiancée, Kaleigh. Jake is an avid New England sports fan and in his free time, enjoys exercising, playing sports, traveling and spending time with his friends and family.
John O'Brien, CFP®
John O'Brien is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and works as a financial planner and investment specialist with MetLife Financial Group of Massachusetts, in Waltham. O'Brien is a graduate of the University of Vermont and holds his certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University’s Center for Professional Education. He has been an instructor in the Financial Planning Program since 2001, and also serves as a “content writer” for BU’s online curriculum. His past experience includes working as a fee-only financial planner as well as a financial consultant with a major area bank. He provided market commentary for the radio program “Not About the Money” on Business 1060 AM in Boston. O'Brien is appointed as an investment advisor representative and holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as Massachusetts Life, Accident & Health licenses. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts and has been asked to speak at Rotary and Lion’s Club meetings, as well as at various industry events.
Michael S. Orentlich, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL®, AEP®
Michael began providing financial services to his clients in 1991 and is the principal and founder of Orentlich Financial Services. He has built a successful practice that focuses on helping people achieve their financial goals.
Michael completed the Boston University Certified Financial Planning Program and earned his CFP® certification from the CFP Board of Standards. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living designations through the American College. Michael was awarded the ACCREDITED ESTATE PLANNER designation, by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, for his contribution and commitment to the field. He is a licensed insurance adviser and has particular interest in matters of insurance, risk management, and many facets of retirement planning.
Michael is an Adjunct Professor at the Boston University Center for Professional Education, where he has taught retirement planning and risk management to CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ candidates, since 2000. In addition, he played a major role in the design and development of Boston University's Online Program for Financial Planners.
A very active participant in the Boston financial services community, Michael is a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, and is an active member of The Boston Estate Planning Council. Since 1999, he has consistently been awarded membership in the “Million Dollar Round Table”, an international organization that annually recognizes a select group of insurance industry professionals worldwide. He has been a guest lecturer at Bentley University Graduate School of Business, Boston University School of Law, and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. Mike is involved in Baystate Medical Division which partners with Mass Medical Society/PIAM and Mass Hospital Association to work on the unique challenges that face physicians and medical practitioners in today’s financial environment.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts. He lives in Marlborough, Massachusetts with his wife and four children.
George Padula, CFA®, CFP®
George Padula, a wealth manager with Modera Wealth Management since 2008, LLC., is an investment professional with more than fifteen years of experience in investment and financial services, and more than ten years of experience in financial planning, managing portfolios and establishing asset allocation strategies for high-net-worth clients, business owners, and families. Prior to joining Modera, formerly known as Back Bay Financial Group, Inc., Padula spent ten years at Danforth Associates, an investment advisory firm, serving as president from October 2004 to July 2008. He has also worked for several large financial services firms including Putnam Investments, Mellon Trust, and Bank One. He has been quoted in several national publications and local media including The Wall Street Journal, WBZ Radio, Journal of Financial Planning, Reuters, Financial Times, Bloomberg, and Boston Globe Magazine. His professional affiliations include the Boston Estate Planning Council, Financial Planning Association, National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and Boston Security Analysts Society. Padula also serves on the board of directors for the Chernobyl Children Project USA. He has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst® and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designations. He holds an MBA in finance from Boston College's Carroll Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College. Padula is also a graduate of Boston College High School. Padula has taught Investment Planning in Boston University’s Financial Planning Program since 2009 after several years of teaching in Northeastern University’s CFP® program. He lives in Westwood, Massachusetts, with his wife and two daughters.
John J. Pallaria, ChFC, CRPS®, CFP®
John Pallaria is director of business development at the Principal Financial Group, focusing on developing and strengthening the channels through which Principal’s retirement products are marketed in New England. Pallaria joined Principal in 2003, previously serving as the account executive director in charge of the team that services Principal’s existing retirement plans. Prior to joining Principal, Pallaria worked for Scudder Investments for almost ten years, holding a variety of roles within the retirement services division. He teaches income tax, retirement planning, and estate planning in BU's Financial Planning Program, and teaches all six financial planning topics (income tax, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, and fundamentals) in the Kaplan, Dalton Education, and Merrimack College live reviews for the CFP® Comprehensive Exam. Pallaria received a BS in Business Administration from Merrimack College and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College and the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning. He is FINRA series 6, 7, and 63 registered, and is also enrolled to practice before the IRS as an enrolled agent. A lifelong New Hampshire resident, Pallaria is married and has two young boys.
William B. Reeve, MBA, EA, CFA, CFP®
Bill taught Tax Planning and Investment Planning for Boston University's classroom program for more than 10 years. Currently, he is a contributor to the online program’s Tax course where he writes and edits curriculum. He is also an instructor for Northeastern University’s graduate program, teaching accounting and finance courses.
Bill previously taught tax planning and case analysis for the BU/Kaplan Review. He also taught financial planning courses for Merrimack College and Northeastern University, and at financial service firms, such as John Hancock, American Express, PNC Bank, Fidelity Investments, Merrill Lynch, and Eastern Bank. He has also taught financial planning to employees of Pepsi, Shaws Supermarkets, Exelon, and Northern Trust Bank, as well.
Bill is a principal of Mahony & Reeve, LLC, a medium-sized CPA firm specializing in tax planning and tax preparation, located in Natick, Massachusetts. In addition, he is a registered representative of Island Light Capital, Inc., an Investment Advisory Firm in Dover, MA. From 1995 to 2005, he ran Sound Financial Planning, Inc., an investment advisory firm that specialized in portfolio management and tax planning.
In addition to being an Enrolled Agent (EA), CFP® certificant and a CFA charter holder, Bill also has an MBA in Finance, and upon completion of his degree, was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, a national honor society for business students. Bill is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), the CFA Institute, and the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS), as well as one of the founding members of the Boston Area Alumni Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.
Anthony Salotto, CFP®, EA
Salotto is the founder of Delphinus Financial Advisors, LLC, a Foxboro, MA firm that specializes in providing comprehensive, fee-only financial planning to clients up and down the East Coast. Salotto is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Enrolled Agent representing taxpayers to the Internal Revenue Service. He received a certificate in financial planning from Boston University, an MS in software development and management from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a BA in chemistry from the University of Rochester. Salotto is an active member of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Alliance of Cambridge Advisors, and the National Association of Tax Professionals. Prior to starting Delphinus, he held executive-level engineering management roles with several startup and Fortune 500 companies.
James S. Smith, CFP®
Mr. Smith is a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Boston. He has been a practicing financial planner since 1984, earning his CFP® certification in 1987. He has taught for Boston University's Program for Financial Planning since 1993. He specializes in comprehensive financial planning for senior level corporate executives.

Additionally, from 2001 - 2009, he served as a Senior Vice President, City Executive and Market Leader at Bank of America/US Trust in Boston, where he managed a team of 14 private client advisors and managers dedicated to serving high-net-worth clients.
Mr. Walsh is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and serves as an adjunct professor at Boston University. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Salem State College. He also holds a diploma in Financial Planning from Boston University.
